1.   Many voters credited Barrio Sunday with improving public administration in Chihuahua in his six-year term, which ends this year.

2.   Voters credit both President Clinton and Gov. George Pataki.

4.   Voters credit him for efforts to give young people jobs and saving vestiges of communist times such as day care centers.

6.   Voters also credited Nazarbayev with preventing inter-ethnic strife in the country, where Kazaks outnumber Russians by about two to one.
