1.   At Level One students will undertake self-assessment, identify qualities and skills and relate these to appropriate vocational areas.

2.   The Chemical Sciences modules may be used as part of programmes in a number of vocational areas such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, petrochemicals and agriculture.

3.   They provided an introduction to the new qualifications, with workshops covering general SVQs in each vocational area.

4.   The external verifiers will each be responsible for general SVQs in a particular vocational area.

5.   The nine verifiers, each of whom is responsible for general SVQs in a particular vocational area, met to look at issues concerning the additional assessment.
