1.   In an effort to protect them from the disease, Namibian nature conservation officials have resorted to vaccinating the animals with darts fired from helicopters.

2.   Dr. Patrick Ryan, county veterinary health spokesman, said it was not clear whether the animals had been vaccinated against tuberculosis.

9.   It is expected to examine whether the EU and national governments properly combatted the disease, which led to disagreements on whether to vaccinate animals or slaughter them.

10.   The EU was also considering requests from several European zoos to vaccinate animals at risk.
