1.   Another Maryland trooper has pleaded guilty to robbing black motorists in addition to searching them.

2.   The reported agreement would allow the troopers to plead guilty to two relatively minor felonies.

3.   The troopers pleaded self-defense, arguing that the van they had stopped was backing up and attempting to run them down.

4.   Three other troopers have pleaded guilty, one was acquitted, and one is awaiting trial.

5.   Even if the troopers plead guilty in the case, they would still be eligible to receive the pensions.

6.   The two troopers have pleaded innocent to all charges and are suspended without pay.
