1.   These differences were mostly caused by the increase in the weights in the treated groups compared with the control group.

2.   The median increase in the steroid treated group was significantly greater than in the elemental diet group.

3.   Neverthless, a beneficial effect of surgery on ultimate height is suggested, particularly given the more severe disease of the surgically treated group.
