5.   Humid air will return to south Texas as the circulation around a large high pressure system in the Ohio Valley begins to transport moisture northward.

6.   Meanwhile, rain will dampen the Pacific Northwest as ocean winds transport moisture inland.

7.   Strong winds from the south will transport copious moisture north from the Gulf of Mexico into the Great Plains Saturday.

8.   With persistent onshore winds transporting Atlantic moisture inland, snow could fall for most of the night across parts of central and southern New England.

9.   However, east to southeast winds at low levels of the atmosphere will continue to transport moisture into the region during the weekend.

10.   Southerly winds are transporting associated moisture northward and across the advisory area.
