1.   Reeve probably will undergo surgery on Monday to fuse the top two vertebrae in his neck.

2.   He shattered his top two vertebrae and damaged his spinal cord.

3.   Sharpe suffered nerve damage because of unusual looseness between the top two vertebrae in his neck, causing pain and numbness in his limbs.

4.   Team doctor Patrick McKenzie said Sharpe had suffered nerve injuries as the result of unusual looseness between the top two vertebrae in his neck.
