1. They are usually mounted on a fabric backing for ease of handling, and are fixed using conventional ceramic tile adhesive. 2. If they come off fairly easily, buy new ones of the right color and design, and install them with tile adhesive. 3. It holds better than the original tile adhesive. 4. Now, you can scrape off any residual adhesive and put up the new tiles with the same type of tile adhesive. 5. Once the tiles are off, scrape off the old adhesive and remount them, using a regular ceramic tile adhesive. 6. Set them with thin-set mortar or tile adhesive. 7. Smooth off the plaster and install the tiles with a tile adhesive. 8. Starting at the center of the area, put tile adhesive on the floor according to the instructions on the container and start pressing the tiles into place. 9. Then set in the new tiles, using a tile adhesive. |
