1.   The six lambs have to be handreared as their natural mothers have enough to cope with.

2.   The three lambs were not created by cloning, but by Dolly mating with a ram.

3.   The five lambs were all born carrying additional genes but only Polly was given the human gene.

4.   The three lambs were normal in every way, and would probably be able to reproduce normally.

5.   The resulting embryos were transplanted into sheep and grew to term, resulting in the five lambs.
