1.   Our brave little tent was flapping and snapping like the center field flag at Candlestick Park, and cold rain was spattering in through the windows.

2.   Tents flapped and tore loose.

3.   The tent flaps violently all night.

4.   The tents were flapping around so violently that we thought they were going to blow away.
