1.   Systemic treatment of cancer is bedevilled by the similarity of tumour cells to normal cells, at least under most physiological conditions.

2.   Aseptic osteonecrosis is an adverse effect of systemic steroid treatment.

3.   Even with cancers not related to sexual organs, systemic treatment may cause problems, for example raising the specter of infertility.

4.   Ontogeny retains rights to systemic treatments of bone disorders, including osteoporosis and cell therapy.

5.   Systemic treatments, like hormonal therapy or chemotherapy, affect cancer cells that might be lurking elsewhere.
