1. Ample sunshine will develop in the Middle Atlantic states, but plenty of clouds will linger farther north. 2. After some early morning clouds and a few sprinkles, some sunshine will develop from southern New England to the Middle Atlantic states as a cool front shifts offshore. 3. Bright sunshine will develop in the Carolinas and southeastern Virginia as gusty winds from the southwest descend the east slopes of the Appalachian Mountains. 4. East of the Appalachians, some sunshine will develop during the day as drier air circulates into the region. 5. Some sunshine will develop in the interior valleys from northern California to Washington. 6. Some sunshine will develop during the day especially over the interior, but a cold front approaching from the north will trigger scattered afternoon showers. 7. Sunshine will develop near the Gulf coast as drier air arrives. 8. Sunshine will develop across much of Washington state after nearly a week of cool, dreary days. 9. That allows sunshine to develop more fruit intensity in the grapes and additional air to control the mold and mildew. |
