1. As employers demand higher skills, students everywhere want access to a university education. 2. Some students might want to pursue a combination of high school and community-college course work. 3. The black students wanted to present different, additional arguments from those in the Texas brief in favor of affirmative action. 4. This issue arose in Illinois, where students wanted to distribute religious literature at school. 5. What I saw in the schools made me ashamed of my views - it was clear to me that most students really want to learn. 6. The students wanted more say in the government of the university. 7. Most first-year students want a programme which leaves open the option of entering the legal profession and of taking an honours degree. 8. And the students wanted to see how Lennox Lewis stood up to their intellectual punches. 9. And after this stirring version, hopefully more than a few students will want to read the book. |
