1.   Late Sunday night, several motorists were stoned by students who had blocked a major highway with flaming tires and large stones.

2.   Earlier, settlers had blocked major roads in the West Bank, burning debris and stoning Arab motorists.

3.   In several instances, settlers have smashed windows of cars with West Bank plates and stoned Palestinian motorists.

4.   In the confrontation, the students stoned motorists and threw stones at the police, who repeatedly charged with wooden clubs and fired tear gas canisters.
