1. Apply an inch or two of stone dust, tamp it down compactly and set the bricks. 2. As you position and tap down a brick, if it is higher than its neighbor, take a little stone dust from under it. 3. Be sure to butt the bricks close together so that they are touching, then sweep stone dust into the joints. 4. A man said I should put in crushed stone under the stone dust before putting the bricks on top. 5. A paver is not terribly even, but will do nicely because when you lay bricks in stone dust, they should be butted close together, even touching. 6. A. Putting stone dust between the bricks will not prevent weeds from coming up in the joints. 7. Butt the bricks so they are touching, and sweep stone dust or fine sand into the joints. 8. Can I sprinkle stone dust on it to try to absorb it and keep from spreading it? 9. If it is low, add a little stone dust. 10. If the bricks sink after a few years, pick them up and put in a little more stone dust. |
