1.   Stir the onions frequently to prevent scorching.

2.   Heat peanut oil in medium sized skillet and stir fry onions until lightly browned.

3.   Make a little space to add the onion, and cook, stirring the onion occasionally until it has softened a bit, a minute or two.

4.   Stir onion into the mixture.

5.   Stir the onions just enough to avoid burning them but not so often as to interrupt the browning.

6.   Stir onion into sour cream.
