1.   The price that the state will pay to sustain the costs of the TNCs will depend largely on the power of the transnational capitalist class and its domestic members.

3.   Amtrak provides the crew for the Piedmont and the Carolinian, but the state pays most operating costs from fares and state gasoline tax receipts.
