1.   Many a bunch of vigilante bully-boys would have worked them over into lumps of fillet steak, twitching and staining the carpet.

2.   The red wine stained the carpet.

3.   Blood stained the carpet in the corner.

4.   Then it will let your cat out, stain the carpet with fruit juice and burn popcorn in the microwave.

5.   We pulled up the carpet so it could dry, but in the process, we stained the carpet with black dye off some slippers.

6.   When a carpet is stained, obviously the first course of action is to try and remove the stain with a commercial carpet cleaner.

7.   Carpets are stained and worn.
