1.   If desired, sprinkle slices with sieved powdered sugar.

2.   Sprinkle sliced almonds over top.

3.   Sprinkle slices of baguette with a little chopped garlic, then drizzle with red or white wine and a drop of olive oil.

4.   Sprinkle sliced almonds over top and serve immediately.

5.   Sprinkle sliced almonds evenly over top of cake.
