1. As is often the case with tropical systems, thunderstorms embedded within the rain bands may spawn isolated tornadoes, especially across western Florida. 2. A few of these storms may spawn tornadoes. 3. A few strong thunderstorms, which may spawn isolated tornadoes, will occur in the sultry air from eastern Texas to Louisiana and Arkansas. 4. A few will spawn tornadoes. 5. A few of the storms could reach severe levels, spawning tornadoes, large hail or damaging straight-line winds. 6. A few of the storms may spawn tornadoes, especially in the middle of the day and in the afternoon. 7. A few of the thunderstorms may spawn tornadoes, especially near the central Gulf Coast. 8. A few of these thunderstorms will spawn tornadoes. 9. Almost all hurricanes making landfall south of New England spawn tornadoes as they come ashore. 10. Early Wednesday morning bands of thunderstorms spawned several tornadoes across northern Florida as the ghost of Hurricane Georges drifted slowly toward eastern Georgia. |
