2.   He is titular head, and merely signs laws occasionally.

3.   Also, Clinton signed a law banning the sale of various assault weapons.

4.   Although President Clinton had signed the law, administration lawyers could not avoid the fact that it raised troubling constitutional questions.

5.   And his father signed the law that the Clinton administration is now enforcing.

6.   And this year he signed a law making heavy trucks subject to annual inspections and maintenance.

7.   As governor of Texas, he signed laws making it legal to carry concealed weapons and difficult for cities to sue gun manufacturers.

8.   As governor, Bush signed laws allowing concealed handguns and prohibiting municipal suits against gun manufacturers.

9.   At the same time, Wilson signed a law that would ease regulations on smog checks for automobile emissions.

10.   Because Bill Clinton signed the law that made it happen.
