7.   On Sunday, an American-born rabbi, Hillel Lieberman, was found shot dead near a road on the West Bank.

8.   Officials say the last person killed by the ETA was a policeman from Barcelona, shot dead in December.

9.   The same day, Waqar Hasan, a Pakistani Muslim, was found shot dead at his store in the Pleasant Grove section of Dallas.

10.   The violence capped a volatile week, kicked off by Israeli troops who shot dead five Palestinian officers in what officials later said was a mistake.
