1.   British Airways on Monday blamed a passenger prank for triggering a false crash alarm with shocked passengers on a London-bound flight from San Francisco.

2.   Shocked passengers wandered near the ground-level track.

3.   Shocked passengers were taken to an airport terminal building where they were checked by medical staff.

4.   Many shocked passengers had disembarked beforehand and others continued their journey by jetfoil instead.

5.   Shocked passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and taken to an airport terminal building where medical help and refreshments were given, said a Ringway spokeswoman.
