4.   As usual, more men than women in both cultures said that sexual infidelity bothered them more than emotional infidelity.

5.   In a country where machismo and government conspiracies are a part of life, there is amazement over how President Clinton is under siege over allegations of sexual infidelity.

6.   In the Clinton case the White House line that he should not be impeached because most people lie to cover up sexual infidelity is sour comedy.

7.   Predictably, there was much sexual infidelity.

8.   Sexual infidelity is therefore more threatening than mere emotional infidelity.

9.   So women are evolutionarily programmed to become more distressed at emotional infidelity than sexual infidelity.

10.   Thus sexual infidelity means emotional infidelity as well.
