1.   The money went largely to a sewer project in Lima and to rural road and hydroelectric projects.

2.   Proceeds will go towards paying for routine water and sewer projects.

3.   Thames Water continued to lose money on overseas water and sewer projects.

4.   Thanks to sewer projects up and down the Hudson and more stringent chemical discharge rules, the river is cleaner than it has been in decades.
