1.   It never occurred to me to applaud the service for creating a painless gateway with its easy installation and setup process and its See-Dick-Run interface.

2.   The setup process begins with a routine check of your computer, including the hard drives and the MS-DOS directory structure.

3.   They say they are working on next-generation products that will simplify the setup process and make home networks more reliable and easier to use.

4.   This computer also goes to great pains to be Internet-ready, walking you through the Internet setup process when you first turn it on.

5.   When you went through the setup process on your new computer, you should have been asked to create an emergency boot disk, and hopefully you did this.

6.   Where necessary, the software could install the needed code as part of its setup process.
