1.   When customs officials opened the container in the port, beeper-size radiation alarms on their belts screamed a warning.

2.   From their apartment windows they screamed warnings for residents below them to run.

3.   Sirens screaming warnings echoed through the empty streets as ambulances and police cars cruised in search of damage.
