1.   Poking under a culvert, Meier found a glass fruit jar, a hole knocked in its side from the rushing floodwaters.

2.   Six houses once stood between me and the shattered house -- the rushing floodwaters spawned by Georges swept them away.

3.   No injuries were reported, but vehicles in the parking lot were tumbled about by rushing floodwater.
