1.   To fit the connector locate the appropriate position on the ribbon cable.

2.   A short ribbon cable comes with the Video Blaster.

3.   Now use the hard disk manual to see how the power cable and the ribbon cable attach.

4.   One side of the ribbon cable has a red stripe.

5.   Remember the wire with the red stripe on the ribbon cable?

6.   The first is a wide, flat ribbon cable that carries data from the drive to the rest of the computer.

7.   The other is for data -- called a ribbon cable, since it is wide and flat.
