1.   Earlier this morning, the two sides still were dickering over required overtime for workers at the Oshawa, Ontario, plants.

2.   No other playoff rivalry during the last five seasons has required overtime more times than the Oilers-Stars.

3.   The parties have hit roadblocks on issues such as required overtime, the movement of work and working environment.

4.   The workers are striking over required overtime and the use of outside contractors.
