1.   The specification of untried or new technology, equipment or techniques has risks and the contractor has to make allowances for any exceptional remedial works which may be necessary.

2.   The tenant should be careful also not to agree a too restrictive period of time in which to carry out remedial works.

3.   The ministry has informed the Public Works Department, which is overseeing the remedial works, of the flaws.
