1.   At such a time, the United States must be prepared for an easing of sanctions, as spelled out under the relevant Security Council resolutions.

2.   If sanctions are to be maintained with continued international support after the bombing, the relevant U.N. resolutions need revision.

3.   Its actions are wholly in accord with relevant Security Council resolutions.

4.   Moreover, the sanctions will be maintained until Iraq complies with all relevant U.N. resolutions.

5.   We believe we have all the authority we need under relevant Security Council resolutions to act.

6.   At the same time, Abdullah said Malaysia also reiterates its position that Iraq should fully comply and implement all relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

7.   I call on them to comply with their obligations under the agreements that have been concluded these past days and with all relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

8.   Iraq says it has complied with all relevant U.N. resolutions and wants the sanctions lifted.

9.   Pakistan is committed to a peaceful resolution of all problems on the basis of the relevant UN resolutions.

10.   The United States and Britain have taken a harder line, with Washington demanding that Iraq show compliance with all relevant U.N. resolutions before sanctions are eased.
