3.   Daytime readings will average as much as twenty degrees below normal.

4.   Despite ample sun, readings will average much below normal.

5.   High pressure will build into the Northern Plains, producing ample sun, but readings will average a few degrees below normal.

6.   Much milder air will cover the southern Plains and Texas, where readings will average above normal.

7.   Thick clouds and lighter showers will linger as far west as the central Appalachians where daytime readings will average ten degrees below seasonal levels.
