The reader will have seen that in both examples it was necessary to make a number of special assumptions. 5. The non-subjective reader saw Laz bump into the pillar and stumble blindly on across the lobby of the Butcher Building, clutching his skull. 6. The same reader also saw the conga-line of Repo Men that followed him, tittering into their hands and nudging one another. 7. Readers see him motionless in the wreckage as rescue services battle the flames. 8. The reader cannot see anything lovable in Mr Rochester, nor why he should be so deeply in love with Jane Eyre. 9. Another reader saw the version of Cream of Wheat pancakes I ran from the Nabisco Web site. 10. As readers can see from the photographs, things worked out a little differently. |
