1.   As the cut nears completion, use a push stick and not your hand to clear the stock behind the blade.

2.   I was ripping a piece of cherry on my tablesaw, using a push stick, and featherboards, and the piece flew back, hitting my right thumb.

3.   If I leave the cover over the blade, always use a push stick and use smallish depths are they safe?

4.   In ripping, I always use a push stick and feather board.

5.   When ripping, use a push stick to advance the work through the blade.
