1.   Pro-Hodac management had blocked newscasts by the protesting journalists and instead produced its own newscasts from outside the building.

2.   Hodac denies that he is politically biased and has threatened to fire the protesting journalists.

3.   The protesting journalists submitted a formal petition to the office of the Istanbul prosecutor, asking for an inquiry into the killing.

4.   On Tuesday, protesting journalists said any measures taken against news organisations should be done through legal proceedings.
