5.   A departing disturbance along the Carolina Coast will promote showers at the ocean communities.

6.   A jet stream disturbance rotating around a pool of moist air aloft will promote numerous showers from Kentucky and Tennessee to the southern Appalachians.

7.   A pool of cool, moist air will linger over the Appalachians promoting afternoon showers from the Smokies to the Poconos.

8.   A Pacific cool front will promote showers in the interior Northwest, especially along west-facing slopes.

9.   A moist flow of Pacific air will promote scattered showers near the Northwest coast.

10.   A return flow of humid air into south Texas and the Rio Grande Valley will promote some showers.
