1.   An offshore low pressure zone will send clouds and thundershowers toward eastern North Carolina.

2.   As winter nears, large high pressure zones build over central Asia.

3.   A cluster of heavier showers will accompany a weak low pressure zone traveling along the front from the central Ohio Valley to the Middle Atlantic states.

4.   A large but weakening low pressure zone will remain across the upper Middle West.

5.   A broken area of showers will expand over Central Texas to the lower Mississippi Valley as a low pressure zone develops in the Rio Grande Valley.

6.   A potent low pressure zone will swirl over the Southwest accompanied by scattered valley showers and mountain snow.

7.   A second low pressure zone will crab eastward from the southern Plains.

8.   A second low pressure zone will move into the Deep South.

9.   A tandem of low pressure zones will keep unsettled weather in much of the West.

10.   Broken bands of showers and thunderstorms will spiral counter-clockwise around the associated low pressure zone as far westward as the Tennessee Valley, especially after lunchtime.
