A disturbance rippling through the fast high-level wind flow will help to form low pressure near the Southeast Coast. 4. A jet stream disturbance will strengthen low pressure near the Carolina coast Wednesday. 5. A potent jet-stream disturbance crossing the Southeast will produce low pressure near the Middle Atlantic coast Tuesday afternoon. 6. A gathering area of low pressure near the Southeast coast will direct showers and thunderstorms into the Carolina Piedmont on Sunday. 7. A small area of low pressure near Chicago will promote a cool rain in the central Great Lakes. 8. A sprawling area of low pressure near the Great Lakes will affect the northeastern third of the nation. 9. A sluggish storm off the Virginia Coast will combine with high pressure near Quebec City to circulate cool, moist air into the northern half of the Atlantic Seaboard. 10. Additional showers will also occur in the western Dakotas as moist air circulates around low pressure near the Canadian border. |
