1.   A cool flow from the Pacific will cause showers to persist near coast from northern California to Washington.

2.   A few snow flurries will persist near Lakes Erie and Ontario as winds gather moisture in transit across the unfrozen waters.

3.   But some locally heavy rain will persist near the swirling winds that mark the vestiges of tropical storm Allison.

4.   Clouds will persist near the Great Lakes with clusters of snow showers.

5.   Cloudy and cool weather will persist near the Northeast seaboard with spotty light rain and drizzle.

6.   Clouds and showers will persist near the eastern Rockies as humid winds from the south ascend the sloping terrain.

7.   Cool breezes from the north will persist near the Carolina coast.

8.   Damp weather will persist near the Carolina coast and much of Florida.

9.   In Florida, scattered thunder will persist near a cold front, but there will be fewer clouds and showers than Monday.

10.   Intermittent light snow will persist near low pressure in the northern Great Lakes and southern Ontario.
