1.   Do not peel the pumpkin.

2.   Peel pumpkin and remove seeds and fibers.

3.   Scrape out the seed cavity and peel the pumpkin.

4.   The easiest way to peel a pumpkin, notes Krondl in his book, is to cut it in half and scoop out the seeds and stringy pieces.
