1. A proposal by the opposition Labour Party for a more extensive package failed to gain parliamentary approval. 2. An Italian government proposal to establish a central register of suspicious operations failed to gain parliamentary approval. 3. The head of state would have no powers to dissolve parliament or to appoint state officials without parliamentary approval. 4. Parliamentary approval would be needed in the event of any proposed development. 5. Development plans by government agencies which were opposed by the Park would require parliamentary approval. |
