1.   Having exhausted the usefulness of the Clinton pardon scandal, congressional Republicans are wisely about to abandon their overheated, underwhelming investigation.

2.   Now, of course, it is the pardons scandal and, yes, several were boneheaded and some look suspicious.

3.   The pardon scandals give the Democrats their best chance of kicking the bum out for good.

4.   But none of the disc jockeys mentioned the pardon scandal.
