1.   Flutist Jean Robinson attended the board meeting as head of the orchestra committee, which also would be the contract negotiating team.

2.   In one, Schwarz sought to hire a principal horn player over the objections of the orchestra committee.

3.   Leonard Leibowitz, the lawyer representing the orchestra bargaining committee, said that that proposal would create a two-tier system and divisions among the musicians.

4.   The upside is that the musicians answer to no outside board of directors, just their own orchestra committee.
