3.   Pineda was optioned to Double-A Erie.

4.   Left-handed pitcher Juan Pena was optioned to Double-A Midland.

5.   RHP Geraldo Guzman was optioned to Double-A El Paso of the Texas League after winning his major league debut Thursday night.

6.   RHP Jared Camp was claimed off waivers from Cleveland and optioned to Double-A Tulsa.

7.   RHP John Ambrose was optioned to Double-A Arkansas, and RHP Mark Thompson was recalled from Memphis.

8.   Three players, RHP Winston Abreu, LHP Horacio Ramirez and RHP Billy Sylvester, were optioned to Double-A Greenville.
