1.   The offshore petroleum industry training organisation has now established a data base to provide details of the courses attended.

2.   A Mobil spokesman said this afternoon that evacuated personnel returned to four of six offshore petroleum fields and that output was expected to return to normal over the weekend.

3.   It includes the chief executives of such groups as Statoil, a state-owned offshore petroleum company, and Den Norske Bank.

4.   Kvaerner said the agreement reflects its drive to concentrate on its core areas of shipbuilding, technology for the offshore petroleum industry, hydroelectric power and forestry.

5.   The federal government opened bids for offshore petroleum leases off the Florida coast on Wednesday, but opponents promised additional action to keep the sites from being developed.
