1.   Additional showers and thunderstorms are likely in the Southwest Tuesday as moisture continues to be replenished in the atmosphere over normally arid regions.

2.   Low-level moisture will continue to flow onshore in Washington and Oregon, setting the stage for stubborn areas of low clouds and fog west of the Cascades.

3.   Meanwhile, monsoonal moisture will continue to bring scattered thundershowers in the Southwest deserts, while ample sun is expected in California.

4.   Meanwhile, moisture will continue to gather western Gulf States on Friday, paving the way for areas of moderate to heavy rain near the Texas coastal plain.

5.   Thunderstorms will boil up over the southern Rockies and the western high Plains from Texas to Kansas as tropical moisture continues to stream north out of Old Mexico.

6.   Thus, with Gulf moisture continuing to press north, the stage will be set for another volley of heavy showers and thunderstorms.

7.   Tropical moisture will continue to interact with a stationary front over Florida.

8.   Another cloudy afternoon will prevail as moisture continues to stream north and east into our area from Hurricane Marco.

9.   This moisture will continue to be carried into the local area with easterly winds.
