1.   Both Ayash and Dr. James Foran, the oncology trainee who wrote the mistaken orders, are under investigation by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.

2.   For one day, mistaken orders had U.S. forces standing by while thugs of the old regime beat people up.

3.   Five or six other doctors and nurses countersigned the mistaken order, including Dr. Lois J. Ayash, leader of the team.

4.   The mistaken order resulted in the upper jetliner descending.
