2.   He said private hospitals should enhance their role as centres for medical excellence in areas such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and investigative and rehabilitative medicine.

3.   If the highest standards of medical service could be maintained, he said, Malaysia could become a centre for medical excellence.

4.   Many physicians and patients here regard telemedicine as a way of saving time, travel costs and diagnosis fees at leading centers of medical excellence.
