1.   Also in the works is a matchup with Georgia Tech at the Meadowlands.

2.   An interesting bowl matchup would be Penn State-Mississippi State, pitting Paterno vs. old nemesis Jackie Sherrill.

3.   --An intriguing first-round matchup is Craig Stadler vs. Colin Montgomerie.

4.   And even if King and Foreman kissed and made up, a Tyson-Foreman matchup would be difficult to arrange.

5.   And there will be new matchups for interleague play, to revive interest in games between NL and AL clubs.

6.   And while substitution patterns can change the Terps to a three-guard look and make the Jayhawks more traditional, the matchups could be intriguing.

7.   And they look forward to a more traditional style of play with Houston, where individual matchups will be even.

8.   Another New York-Chicago playoff matchup would be intriguing, but there is no guarantee that it will happen.

9.   Another possible compromise matchup would be Purdue against BC.

10.   As has been the case in recent seasons, the Rangers-Devils matchup is intriguing because of the differences in their styles.
